Everest Tandoori & curry

My favorite Indian food in Northern California. Drive from Danville just to eat here. Reminds of food from a Dhaba in Punjab and if that's what you're craving this is the perfect place. Got chicken tikka extra spicy and it was so good. Took about 20-30 minutes for my order. Service was great. It was raining outside but I was able to eat on a picnic table with an umbrella. Perfect 10/10- chefs kiss

After learning I would be in Lathrop for an entire weekend. I started doing some research on nearby restaurants, this place had a lot of great reviews. I decided to try it. I went about 4 o'clock on Friday. It wasn't busy at all and it did not disappoint. I asked for mild spice on my butter chicken and it was perfection. The basmati rice was fresh and smelled wonderful and the garlic naan was huge and flavorful & I could eat about 10 of them. The man who took my order was very pleasant and polite. Everything looked nice and clean. I'll definitely be back.

This is the second time that I've been to this lunch truck area and im so glad I finally tried the Indian food. I had the butter chicken and garlic naan. It was delicious. I haven't had good butter chicken since my cousin brought some from Vancouver that was home made. Anyways, I will definitely be back when I'm back in Stockton.

I don't usually make reviews for restaurants but when I tasted their butter chicken i had to make one. The butter chicken was the best i ever had and can't wait to come back and explore more of there menu. The gentleman who took my order was very pleasant and will give them a 5 star review from me...

Love love love the food here! The chicken tandoori and chicken curry are my favorite! When they say spicy it really is spicy which I love! They do offer a spice range if you prefer something not too spicy. The service has always been great! Very kind! I've been here several times and will definitely keep going!

Staying in Stockton for a few days and was craving good Indian food. They showed up as highly rated on Uber Eats. Ordered Goat Curry, Naan, Goat Biriyani & Tandoori Chicken. The order went through and when the order went through based on the time, I looked up and found that they are in Lathrop. When the food arrived after a long time (not a delay just the distance) it was so well worth every bit of the wait. The tandoori was perfect. It was made in the tandoor as you could smell the charcoal. The goat curry & biriyani both were so tasty, the meat was cooked perfect. The goat curry also came with side of rice. I also ordered plain white rice for my little one. There was so much food for our family of 3 that we didn't know what to do. The hotel refrigerator was so tiny so we couldn't fit in any leftovers. I gave them to the hotel staff and they were so happy for the yummy food. Man I loved this place and wish I lived closer so I could eat them more often. Also my Uber Eats driver told me that they are a food truck and had a big waiting line. They totally exceed my expectations for a food truck meal and I am not surprised for the crowd. The only issue I had with their biryani was that it had a lot of bone fragments. Maybe they need to get better equipment to chop meat.

I ordered the curry goat with complimentary rice. The curry goat had a very good spice and flavor to it. The only thing I didn't like was how watery the sauce was. If it were thickened a little it would of been a really good curry goat. The basmati rice was good. Now, the naan, that was the best naan I have ever had. It was soft like a fluffy tortilla and the flavor was amazing with the right amount of salt. This is my first time ordering from here. I would love to try something else on the menu in the near future.

I go to this place often. Good ppl and good tasty food. No complaints for the hard working people.

Excellent Indian food and a very creamy and flavorful mango lassi. The food preparation takes a while but it's worth the wait.

Stopped by this area for a quick evening snack. The mango lassi definitely stood out and so glad I tried this specific one because there's definitely a different flavor compared to other places. Some places just taste like a tangy mango smoothie, but this one does have a spice/peppery after taste. I'm thinking cardamom? Definitely my go to for mango lassi now though

Just arrived here in Lathrop, staying at Hampton Inn for 4 nights! Saw a line of ethnic truck food!! made a B line there! Best choice" Indian Food" ordered tiki chicken, chicken curry, chicken kabobs.. sorry no photos ate it all

Chicken korma is excellent! I've had the veg wrap and while I'm not a fan can tell it has quality ingredients and made fresh. Also, it is quite large. Naan is good but the yellow dal with tadka is very very salty

Servings are great for the price and amount of food!! One order of the biryani is good for 3-4 people. The fish wasn't our favorite, but my family and I had to go back for the chicken biryani. I also ordered the mango lassi for the first time which was so different than the ones I've had before -- it was incredibly bright and deep yellow orange, which I came to find out after drinking was because it included tumeric and pepper, which I personally am a fan of! I ended up running into some friends who said came back for the THIRD TIME this week just for their butter chicken and naan. Will definitely try that next time. On top of that, service has been consistently kind. Heads up: The wait is usually 20+ mins.

This place is sooooo good. And good prices, too! Their shahi paneer and butter paneer are absolutely amazing. Their naan roll with paneer is also sooo good. They have the most flavorful naan I've tried and I've eaten at a lot of the Indian restaurants in the area. By far thee best naan I've had. I've also had their biryani which was good, but nothing special.

The tandoori chicken was amazing and the chicken curry tasted authentic. I would easily go back

Food was absolutely delicious. The only reason it's not getting a five star is because the prices are a little high. For the price of any of the plates ( we ordered the butter chicken and tandoori chicken) I would've expected it to come with at least the rice. But you have to order and pay for the rice separately as well as the bread.

Best butter chicken I've had in a really long time...garlic naan was fire and the basmati rice was a huge portion-perfect to sop up all that yummy sauce. Bring lots of water cuz it's hot outside

Been craving butter chicken so my family came here. Friendly customer service while ordering, line was not too long maybe had 3 people ahead of us. But it was a Saturday night we did wait for 22 minutes but worth it. It was at night so it was pretty dark area which needed more lighting. We ordered Butter Chicken- Full of flavors and perfect sliced chicken. Goat Curry- cubed goat pieces and creamy curry. Garlic Naan- are large we ordered 3 orders and we couldn't finish them. Veggie wrap- very large and really tasty if you want to go healthy this is the best choice. Definitely returning and trying other items.

Tasty authentic Indian food. We had specific spice level requests (spicy for the adults and less spicy for the kids). They took care of our request. Food was served hot and fresh.

Found this truck in Lathrop. BOMB.com! Got the chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and garlic naan. chefs kiss! Pack of so much flavor is crazy! Just got all 4 wisdoms removed was tired of cold soft food. Told my husband I needed some flavor! He showed me this place. Excellent! If I could get my food spicy I would have but unfortunately I'm still recovering. Next time for sure!!

Paneer veggie wrap is very delicious 😋 & Malai chicken kabab is delicious too

I have tried several items here some for the first time and have yet to be disappointed. The first couple visits I realized their level of spice is too much for my family so we opt for no spice. It does change the flavor but it is still very delicious. I always get the chicken biriyani, garlic Naan and try something new. It's a must try, especially if you haven't already.

Best yellow dal I've ever had in my life!! Naan is amazing too. Rice has cream in it, just fyi for those who are sensitive. Give this place a try you will not regret it!

I wasn’t sure what to order, so I sort of guessed. I chose the Kadai Chicken and my oh my was that a GREAT choice. Very unassuming, but super flavorful and just warmed my soul.

Never had a bad experience here. Food is always on point and delicious. The Chicken Biriyani is very spicy but you can order it more or less to your liking. I'd say medium and up is pretty spicy. We can get a single Biriyani that makes 4-5 servings with the addition of the Naan. Great value.

You guys hv the best daal makhni! It’s the best in the area and you serve it hot!! Right way!! I eat it at least 2-3 times a month.. Come back pls

Delicious food, yes it is a food truck in Lathrop, I go there at least once a week. Everything is tasty and different, not the same curry. Guys in the truck are friendly and hard working people. My favorite is chicken tandoori and chicken tikka masala. Keep it up.

I ordered malai chaap, matar chaap and Naan.. everything was so delicious.. I eat atleast 4 days out and this is the first place where I liked Naan so much that I forced to leave review. Quality was good as well. Please keep up...
